Though no one knows for sure how he came to such prominence, there is little doubt his path is true.  A beautiful family, a loving wife, an enormous home, yacht club status (though he doesn't sail), a mullet that would leave Billy Ray Cyrus with an Achy Breaky Heart and some of the fastest (unshaved) legs this side of  rt. 495.

Having been apart of Spain's cycling's scene as a Junior racer, Chris soon realized he had a higher calling in the bike industry.  This capricious refusal to merely fade into cycling's long list of 'could have been' pro racer obscurity, gave rise to an unfettered spirit.

Through good ole' fashion yankee ingenuity, Chris somehow mustered the wherewithal to open Marblehead's premier Bike Shop and early home to many of cyclings great.  He mentored eager spirits like Tim Johnson and  holds the status of Tyler Hamilton's hometown mechanic.  It is here that you will find Chris at his most organic state and more often than not, with a pizza in one hand and a torque wrench in the other.

It cannot go without mention that Chris still maintains an envious level of fitness amongst his similarly aged compatriots.  Realizing the delicate balance between global fame and regional dominance, Chris stays true a predictable sequence; Bike, Work, Eat, Drink, Sleep.  Even as time takes its grip, its these 5 laws that continue to serve the needs of his friends and family, but remain the degree of separation he puts between any rider(s) with would be claims to 'hammer'.
