8/19 - An unseasonably chilly 60F to start the day.  However, after the first 1000ft in 30min and another 4200ft over the remaining 53mls, things warmed up nicely today.  My eyes are still bloodshot from the pollen, but the legs are certainly worse off.  All in all, a good ride and well worth the price of admission...2hrs in the car with Tall Skinny...each way (I'll spare you the impact of his post ride, Whole Milk indulgence).  From a regional perspective, one might look to climb 10k feet of  over 6 days of riding in the North Shore..and that's looking for each and every hill (trust me).  Make no mistake, we are no better off than those of the Sunshine state!
